So here are some new pictures of the kids and our family picture. We had to take a family picture because the primary wants family pictures from all of the kids in our ward to put up on a bulletin board as part of the 2009 primary theme My Eternal Family. We also took a new family picture because we haven't had one done for years!

This is what trying to get all the kids to focus on the camera looks like!
I thought I better mention to those of you who may not know, we are living in Iona Idaho.
Joe's job brought us here, and we are loving it. Other than the extreme cool weather that we get here!

Jena and Jacey both had appointments to see the doctor today. Jena is growing like a weed. She weighs 13 pound even and is 23 1/2 inches long. He was very happy with her growth! I hate how fast she is growing. Time is just flying by. I want her to stay little for a while longer, although I am enjoying her new stages. She has become quite the talker. I wonder where she could have gotten that from!!!!!

Jacey had her kindergarten check up. I know she doesn't start school until the fall but I figured that since she turned 5 in November I might as well get it done. She wasn't very happy that she had to get shots, but she was very brave. Probably because I told her I would get her a treat when we were finished at the doctors office. She weighs 31 pounds and is 38 3/4 inches.
Time sure flies by. I can remember taking her in for her baby check ups!

Jacey is 5 years old. She and I are part of a neighborhood preschool. She loves going to school 2 days a week.

She is our princess, and she won't let us forget it. She loves playing barbies, dolls, and using her imagination. She loves her baby sister Jena, she is her little mother.

We had a great Christmas. It is hard not being able to spend the holidays with our extended family, but we also enjoy being able to just stay home and enjoy ourselves.

I don't think we spoiled the kids too much. They all seemed to like what the got. Jacey loved her Barbie Mariposa doll, and the boys love Guitar Hero III, in fact they love it so much that they killed the batteries in the wireless guitar on Christmas Day. Needless to say I was at Walmart the next day buying rechargeable batteries.

Jena is 4 months old and our other little princess. We just adore her. I don't know how we ever lived without her. She is the love of her brother's lives, and her dad too! Jacey thinks she is her very own baby.
Everyone who sees her falls instantly in love with her. Just look at her and you will see why. She is a doll.

Josh is 9 years old and in the 4tth grade. He loves math and science. He loves to tell us facts on just about anything. He would much rather read books about science then read fiction.
Josh is working on his Bear in cub scouts. He is really enjoying scouts.
Jakob is in the 5th grade this year. He enjoys math and art.

Jakob turned 11 on the 15th of December. I can't believe that he is 11. I'm not old enough to have a tween!
Jake earned his arrow of light award in scouting earlier this month, and is really excited to be joining the boy scouts.

The kids are absolutely loving all the snow we have gotten in the last few days. I think the best thing we ever did was buy our house right across the street from the church. The kids have their very own sledding hill after the parking lot gets plowed. The hill just gets bigger and bigger after every snow storm. They love it, and it is very convenient for me because I don't have to go outside and freeze while they sled. I can just watch from the living room window.

I was hoping for a family picture to send out for christmas this year, but it didn't happen, so here is one of the kids. I think it turned out pretty cute. Although they have a hard time focusing on the camera at he same time for some reason.
