Pictures from Christmas

I Didn't get many pictures taken on Christmas, but here is what I have. I was having too much fun watching the kids open gifts to remember to take pictures!

The Present that you can see on the ledge is one that Santa forgot to deliver on Christmas Eve. The Kids had just gone down stairs to see what Santa had left for them when the doorbell rang. It scared them so bad they all came running up the stair to tell us that the doorbell rang. (the present showed up at 7:00 am) It was the Kinect for the XBOX 360 that they have been asking for. I has been played pretty much non stop since Christmas Day. I guess it was well worth the wait!

Thirteen years ago today...

I became a mom for the fist time!  Happy Birthday Jakob, I hope your day is fantastic!

Thanksgiving Weekend

I hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving weekend started different than it was supposed to, We went to my Brother Roger and his wife Kelly's cabin in Island Park, the plan was for them to head to the cabin on Tuesday evening and we were going to meet them on Wednesday afternoon. Plans had to change because Idaho got hit with a huge blizzard on Tuesday and most of the roads were closed, and the road to Island Park didn't open up until late Wednesday afternoon. So they met us at our house Thanksgiving and we headed up to the cabin.

We had so much fun with them over the weekend, I'm ready to make this our new family tradition, but I don't think my parents, or Joe's parents would be very happy with us if we did!

We were able to enjoy an nice Thanksgiving feast, play the WII, watch movies, go into West Yellowstone and do some window shopping, a little snowmobiling and some sledding down the hill! Thanks Roger and Kelly for letting us come and spend the weekend with you, we all had a blast and can't wait to do it again!

I am Thankful For....

Since it is Thanksgiving I wanted to post some of the things that I am Thankful for!


I am Thankful for.....

A Loving Heavenly Father, who is aware of me and of my needs.

My Savior Jesus Christ and his willingness to atone for all our sins.

My husband and very best friend Joe, for how hard he works to provide for our family so that I can stay home with our children.

I am also thankful that he is a worthy Priesthood holder and that he honors his priesthood.

For my children and all the joy that they bring to me.

For my family and Joe's family and the love and joy that they bring into our lives.

For a home to live in.

For food to eat.

That Joe has a job.

For good health.

For doctors who are there when we need them.

For friends who are there when we need them!

These are just a few of the things that I am Thankful for.

Snow Much Fun!

This is how the kids are spending their Thanksgiving Break.

Oh yes and we survived the BLIZZARD of 2010, we had some crazy weather yesterday, snow and wind. I-15 north of Idaho Falls was closed, and they asked people to stay home and not go out unless they needed too.
Hopefully we will survive these frigidly cold temps. Current Temp in Iona Idaho 7 degrees!

Happy Birthday Jacey

Seven years ago today we headed to the hospital to welcome a new little girl into our family, it has been a wonderful seven years! We Love you very much Jacey and are so glad that you are part of our family.

Jacey decided that she wanted to have a friend party this year, she invited seven of her friends to help celebrate her birthday at a Tea Party. (I would post pictures but I don't know how the other girls parents would feel about it. So if you want to see pictures you will have to come look at her scrapbook!)

This year she wanted to have a butterfly cake (thank goodness it was easy to make since my cake decorating abilities are very limited)

My Favorite Picture!

We went down to Utah for my nephew London's wedding last weekend.

I just wanted to post my very favorite picture that I took while we were there!

Check out this double rainbow

It has been raining off and on all day long check out this double rainbow that was so awesome that it interrupted dinner! The pictures don't do it justice and you can't see the double rainbow very well.

I hope you enjoy the pictures of the rainbow as much as we enjoyed seeing it!

It also reminded me of one of my very favorite Primary songs:

When I am Baptized

I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain and ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again. I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain. I want to be the best I can and live with God again.

I think a rainbow is one way that our Heavenly Father shows that he loves us!

Jacey went to a birthday party yesterday and this is what she came home looking like! The face paint job was amazing!

We have Bieber Fever (NOT)

Jake and Josh DO NOT like Justin Bieber AT ALL, but at the moment they both have really long hair, so we have been teasing them that we were going to give them the Justin Bieber hair do!

I think Josh could pull it off, don't you?

Thankful for Great Friends

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the friends that I have.
You know who you are and I am proud to call you all friend.

I just wanted to share the good news we got today,
My Mother in Law is in remission!

Very Productive Week

I feel like I have had a very productive week this week.

I made granola
cookies
2 loaves of 7 grain bread
1 loaf of wheat bread
apple butter
and I canned applesauce!
I'm feeling very domestic this week!

Oh and I got to go down to Utah and see my sister Ramona who lives in Maryland who I haven't seen for a few years, and also my sister Rochelle who I haven't see for a while.

We had her two year check up on Monday, the Doctor seemed really happy with her progress. She is still a skinny Minnie she weighs 21 1/2 pounds and is 32 1/4 inches tall.
