Tautphaus park Zoo

The Boys are gone for the next four days at Encampment.  Which is to help celebrate 100 years of the LDS church being part of the boy scout program, so the girls and I decided to go to the Zoo with some friends for the morning.

Here are a few pictures!

This has become one of Jena's favorite things to do at the zoo, feeding the goats and going into their pen to pet them!

The Snow leopard.  We never get to see them, but we lucked out and both of them were out today!

Yellowstone

We decided that we needed to use our season pass to Yellowstone one more time before it expired.  Last time we went we spend 95 % of our time in the car, so this time we spent the majority of our time out of the car walking the trails, having a good time!  We really love going into the Park.  It is so awesome to have so close to us!

We hardly ever have our picture taken together!

This is the back side of Old Faithful, we have never seen it from the back.  We did the loop around Old Faithful this trip.

I Thought this guy was a statue,  The kids had to point out to me that he was breathing! he was just lounging in front of the Old Faithful Inn.  The kids named him Taco!

After Yellowstone we stopped in Ashton to eat at one of our very favorite places!  Big Jud's!  They have the best fries!

We shared this burger between all of us!

We really are still alive! (Picture Heavy!)

You would think that we fell off the face of the earth since I haven't posted  in FOREVER!

We have just been busy!

Lets see some of the  fun thing we have done since my last post.

Both boys had a really good time participating in track this year.

Joe finished school on the 10th of May, we have decided that going back to school is hard!  He has decided to take the summer off, and when he goes back to school in the fall he will only be going part time instead of full time, it is just too hard going to school full time, and working full time and being a dad, there just aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done.(like studying!)

Joe's little sister was married on May 11, so we were able to go down to Utah for the Wedding and Reception, it is always nice to be able to go an spend time with Family.  Here are a couple of pictures from the Wedding!

Josh had an end of year band concert on the 16th of May, he has really enjoyed being in the band, and is looking forward to being in both symphonic band and Jazz band at the High school.

Joe had an EyeMed event in Salt Lake on the 20th of May, so the girls and I went with him and spent the day with my Sister Rachel and her kids.  They had a really good time with their cousins.  We went to the classic fun center and were able to have a good time!  We were also able to visit with my mom for a while, she made some really cute bags for the girls, I will have to take a picture of them and post later!

these two love every chance they get to see each other!

These two also love seeing each other!

I was able to help with Field day at the Elementary School before school got out, that was interesting.  It was going really well until my last group showed up, a couple of the boys got into a fight and were throwing punches.

The kids finished out the school year on the 24th of May.  When school starts this fall I will have two in High school, and two in Elemenary School.  How in the world did I become old enough to have two kids in High School!?

Jacey was the only one willing to let me take a picture of her on the last day of school!

I got a new calling at church, I am a Sunday School teacher for the 17/18 year olds, it is a lot different than teaching primary!

We have taken the kids to Yellowstone, and hope to go back at least one more time before school starts up again this fall.

Jena's very favorite animal, the Bison, he was walking right next to our car!
Hundred's and Hundred's of Bison, We all got tired of saying "Look Jena there are some Bison"

 Elk
 Prong Horn's

I finally was able to see a real live Mountain Goat!  They really do exist!

We didn't see any bears this trip, but we still had a great time!

We went to Utah a couple of weeks ago for my Niece Mikynlee, and my Nephew Dylan's baptism. It was really nice being able to spend some time with my parents and siblings, and also to visit with Joe's family as well. We made it a long weekend, and took the kids to Hogle Zoo, and the Living Planet Aquarium.

They have some really cool Lego displays at the Zoo right now, they were really neat!

 At the bird show!

These are also made from Legos!

Jena was really hungry and being a grump about it!

touching a star fish at the living planet aquarium
touching a sea biscuit, they were also able to touch a ray!

On Sunday we celebrated Father's Day, my kids have the best dad ever!
