Happy Birthday Jacey!

I can't believe that you are 8 already, where has the time gone?

This is the cake that she picked out for mom to make for her. She LOVED it when she saw it!

We took her shopping to pick out her gifts. She got a Fur real friends dog that walks and barks, and she also got two new barbie DVD's and a new Kelly doll. Oh and she bought a littlest pet shop turtle.

She wanted taco's for dinner, followed by watching Cars 2 and eating cake and ice cream. I think she had a great day!

We love you Jacey and are so glad that you are a part of our family!

Today I am thankful for the Sabbath, and for the opportunity that I have to go to church and worship, and to feel closer to my Savior.

Today I am thankful for modern medicine. Jake got bit by some type of bug last week, we thought it was going away, but in the last couple of days it flared up again. We spent some time in the doctors office today having it looked at, and having it drained. They have put him on a topical antibiotic, and an oral antibiotic. Thank heavens we can call the doctor and be seen in the same day and also have medicine ready to go when we get to the pharmacy.

Today I am thankful for my hubby who works hard to provide for us so that I can stay home with our children. I LOVE YOU JOE!

Monster Cupcakes

I made these Monster Cupcakes for the kids today!

Pumpkin Patch

Jena has been asking to go to the pumpkin patch for a couple of weeks now, so yesterday after school we headed to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins.

I think she got the pumpkin patch idea from Barney, because she has been singing this song from Barney for days now: "Pumpkins, Pumpkins, we like pumpkins, from the pumpkin patch!"

(I couldn't get her to sing it on camera though!)

A tree being removed, to be placed in a new location?

Our next door neighbors had a tree removed from their front yard Saturday morning, they donated it to a guy who needs trees for a project that he is working on.

It was really fun to watch them remove it, and the nosy neighbor that I am took pictures for everyone to enjoy! So for your viewing pleasure here are some pictures of the tree being removed!

I'm feeling a little on the domestic side today!

Here is what I have made with our Fall Harvest!

6 containers of Freezer Apple Pie Filling

2 of these:

Fresh Blender Salsa (I still need to make one more for our house) I had to barter with my friend Joanie for Jalapeno peppers and yellow onions to make more salsa! (I traded one of these containers of Salsa for her peppers and onions, a fair trade I think!)

And I still have all these tomatoes left in the house, and more out on the vine that aren't ready to be picked yet!
